Gown Return Policy-Off the Rack
Applies to online gown purchase and our free Gown Finder Service – Lust purchases
You as the bride incur all shipping and insurance costs to and from bridepower (usually somewhere between $40-$80 in total) so be sure that you are confident about your purchase. These costs are non-recoverable. Use our inquiry feature in the catalog section to find out important information about your selection.
If you cancel an order before it is shipped, a flat fee of $65 per item will be charged to cover our preparation expenses (with the exception of gown locator purchases).
If you need to return an item after your receive it, you may return it for a full refund of the gown cost if the following four conditions are met:
- You request a Return Authorization Number from us via email or telephone within 3 days of receiving your item. Please write your RA# on the top of the box.
- You ship it back to us to arrive within 5 days of receiving your Return Authorization Number. This may require express shipping methods. Please ship to: 130 Galen Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
- You insure the merchandise for the purchase price.
- The returned merchandise is in its original condition.
You will receive the return policy in writing with your order.
Gown Return Policy-Special Order Gowns
Applies to online purchase of special order gown. VOWS & bridepower.com is an authorized retailer for the following manufacturers, Allure, Wtoo, Dessy, and Mori Lee.
Shipping is always free with special order gowns.
- VOWS & bridepower will accept returns however, because the gown is special ordered, there is a 50% restocking fee.
- VOWS & bridepower will accept returns once you receive the time ONLY if the item is deemed defective by the manufacturer or the incorrect size, color, etc was sent by us. You must notify us via email within 2 days of receiving your item.
All returned items must be in original, unaltered condition.
- If I override the recommended size, VOWS is not responsible for any sizing issues. Even with an ordered gown, alterations are required and at an additional cost.
- VOWS BRIDAL OUTLET is not an agent of, or responsible for the actions of the manufacturers.
Gown Finder Service – LOVE Return Policy
- Because this service actually is locating a gown for you, special policies apply.
- You will be sent a payment link by email. Once paid, you understand that you have committed to purchasing the gown and that all sales are final unless the gown has damages beyond repair. VOWS will ensure the condition is what was promised by our partner store/manufacturer before shipping it to you.
- All orders are subject to a $40 domestic and $85 International ship charge.
- Gown Finder LOVE communications will be done through email correspondence. Special instructions contained in the emails and agreed to will supersede this policy.
Accessory & Bridesmaids Return Policy(for bridepower purchases only)
Since we custom order all accessory orders and bridesmaids, these purchases are non-returnable.
Shipping and Other Costs (for bridepower ordering only)
Most gowns will ship within 2-3 weeks of your order maybe even sooner. All merchandise is shipped either UPS or USPS with delivery confirmation so someone will need to sign for your gown when it arrives.
Shipping costs for Gowns: $40 within the United States, $85 for international shipping, and $65 for overnight shipping.
Please contact your local government to determine if you will incur additional charges for taxes, duties, etc. VOWS & bridepower.com cannot control these additional fees and will not be held responsible for them.
Multiple Gown Orders
If you would like to purchase more than one gown at a time from bridepower.com, shipping cost applies to each gown. We can only accept a maximum of 2 gowns back for a refund. Please send an email to email@example.com with any questions. See shopping cart for detailed shipping costs.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes
Please note: It is a legal requirement that we declare the full value of the goods on all packages destined outside the European Union, and shipments may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; unfortunately we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. In the event of returning goods on which duty has been paid, if you have paid import duty for goods received, and subsequently return the goods to us, it should be possible for you to claim a refund of duties from your local Customs authority. To do this, you will need to show them proof of duty paid and proof of export (e.g. certificate of posting) when claiming your refund.
